A: I've always drawn since I was a kid. In fact, I used to get into trouble for drawing on top of my desk in school. I've always been drawn to the arts, but was scared of becoming a starving artist! I was accepted at U of T, York and others for their Fine Arts programs and my dream was to go work for Disney. But, when visiting Ottawa in my last year of high school, my other love - politics - came roaring to the forefront and I pursued studies in Political Science at Carleton University instead. But, I never let go of my love of art.
It was really only when I came up with The Bureaucrats characters that I saw that I might actually be able to do a regular strip. It is really alot of fun to do, since I am able to lean on lots of experience to refine and grow my characters. For the first time in my entire career, I'm actually having fun!
